Perform mechanical design and calculations for Shell & Tube Heat Exchangers, Pressure Vessels, and Air Fin Coolers.
Carry out code-based thickness calculations using PV Elite in accordance with ASME Section VIII Div.1, API 660, TEMA, and applicable client specifications.
Prepare and review detailed fabrication drawings using AutoCAD.
Ensure designs comply with ASME, API, TEMA, IBR, and project-specific standards.
Review fabrication drawings for dimensional accuracy, manufacturability, and code compliance.
Coordinate with production, procurement, quality, and project teams during design execution.
Provide technical support during fabrication and resolve design-related manufacturing issues.
Prepare preliminary design calculations and technical inputs for estimation and proposal activities.
Review client specifications, engineering documents, and vendor drawings.
Participate in design reviews and ensure timely submission of engineering deliverables.
Required Qualifications
B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering.
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering will be an added advantage.
