Job Title: E&I Engineer
Qualification: B.Tech / B.E. / Diploma in Electrical Engineering
Experience: 5+ Years in EPC / Oil & Gas Projects
Location: Tripura (Project Site)
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out site execution activities for Electrical, Instrumentation, and Fire & Gas (F&G) systems.
- Arrange construction materials and equipment as per project requirements.
- Conduct site inspection of electrical and instrumentation materials and equipment.
- Coordinate and follow up with subcontractors to ensure timely execution of work.
- Resolve site issues to ensure smooth construction activities.
- Supervise installation of electrical panels, cables, junction boxes, and associated equipment.
- Coordinate with subcontractors for electrical and instrumentation site activities.
- Monitor site progress and ensure work is completed as per the project schedule.
- Prepare daily progress reports and report project status to the Construction Manager / Project Manager.
- Prepare measurement sheets and maintain as-built mark-up drawings.
- Review electrical and instrumentation drawings, layouts, and vendor documents as per site conditions.
- Prepare site material requisitions and material indents.
- Update and maintain red-line (as-built) mark-up drawings.
- Conduct inspection, testing, and maintain quality records for completed work.
- Verify subcontractor work measurements and support invoice certification.
- Reconcile issued materials, monitor consumption, and forecast future material requirements.
- Coordinate with Head Office Engineering team for technical clarifications and design support.
- Coordinate with PMC, client representatives, and other stakeholders for project execution.
- Submit functional and administrative reports to the RCM and Project Manager.
